The Grant River Recreation Area is a beautiful campground located on the Mississippi River. With it's 73 sites, it makes for a wonderful opportunity to come see what southern Wisconsin has to offer. To contact the campground call 608-763-2140 for reservations or further information. |

Mine hours: Passage Thru Time Museum - Glimpse the proud and passionate past of Southwest Wisconsin during her adolescent years. Experience life in the early 19th century as you walk through time. Models, exhibits and displays containing historical views of the Potosi Brewery, early mining, agricultural achievements, and Indian arrowheads. The Museum is open daily from May 15 to approximately September 15, Tuesday thru Saturday, noon until 4 pm. Contact person is Kathy Wolfe, 608-763-2406. For other days, contact the Sportsman Shack to connect with Historical Society members and Community Leaders who can give tours. Bird Watching- Download this birdwatching brochure that was produced by the Potosi and Cassville Chambers. Watch bald eagles soar along the mighty Mississippi. Grant River Tubin'- As you drift on your tube down the scenic Grant River in Southwest Wisconsin, you will meander through timbered bluffs and rustic rock ledges.
