Bald Eagle Month - January

Take in a panoramic view of the Mississippi River or relax in wooded campsites atop the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi. Because Cassville is on the Upper Mississippi River Fish and Wildige Refuge, visitors can see trumpeter swans, hawks, eagles, osprey and many migrating flocks of birds. Visit Stonefield, home of Wisconsin's first governor, Nelson Dewey, and Stonefield Village, a reconstructed 1890 village. Open year round.

Wyalusing State Park

Located in Grant County near Prairie du Chien, Wyalusing State Park sits atop scenic bluffs above the confluence of the Wisconsin and Mississippi Rivers. Watch for the Kentucky warbler, Acadian flycatcher, red-shouldered hawk, and other spring migrants (May), and raptors that migrate along the bluffs in fall.
