Boscobel

Wisconsin River at Boscobel Located on the beautiful Wisconsin River, Boscobel offers economic development and tourism opportunities for everyone. The industrial park, business community and transportation sources are well developed. Known as the Birthplace of the Gideon Bible, Boscobel has a rich history and modern services.

p-cassvilleVisitors to Cassville find the beautiful Riverside Park an excellent place to spend the day or to board the car ferry across the Mississippi River. Cassville is home to the Stonefield Historic Site and the Nelson Dewey State Park.

Many residents drive the short distance to Platteville or Dubuque for work, college or shopping. Tourists enjoy the scenic countryside and frequently stop at The Grotto.

Fennimore

Dwight Parker Library, Fennimore WIThe “Crossroads of Grant County,” US Hwys 18 and 61 intersect at Fennimore. The modern business park has lots ready for development and commercial properties are available. The FIEDC and Chamber of Commerce work together, actively promoting the business community and city betterment projects.

Hazel Green

Hazel Green WIA quiet agricultural town, Hazel Green was established as the Point of Beginning for the state of Wisconsin in 1831. The industrial park is ready for new businesses and the area boasts a large available work force. Only 9 miles from Dubuque Iowa, Hazel Green has small town services with the convenience of a larger city nearby.

Lancaster

Grant County WI Courthouse, Lancaster WIThe Grant County Courthouse marks the center of Lancaster. Two large industrial parks, several manufacturing businesses, and a wide variety of commercial and administrative businesses anchor the city’s economic development. Lancaster residents provide extensive community support for the school, churches, youth programs and civic organizations.

Livingston

Livinsgton WI Fire StationThe small town of Livingston, located between Platteville and Fennimore on Hwy 80, has commercial properties available in the industrial park. Housing is affordable. The community is part of the Iowa-Grant School District, has excellent public parks and hosts a local festival in June.

Montfort

p-montfort-windbinesThe wind-powered turbines along Hwy 18 can be seen for miles and draw many tourists to the Montfort area. Visitors also frequently stop at the Rural Route 1 Popcorn retail store. Montfort is located at the junction of state Hwy 80 and US Hwy 18. The community has property for ready commercial development.

Muscoda

Geese on the river at Muscoda.Muscoda has an excellent industrial park which includes several manufacturing businesses. Commercial properties are available within the community. Muscoda hosts the Morel Mushroom Festival the weekend following Mother’s Day. With over 30 acres of recreation land, there are outdoor activities every season of the year.

Platteville

Platteville WisconsinThe largest city in Grant County, Platteville is home to UW-Platteville. The city has large industrial development parks, a well-trained labor force, commercial properties available, and affordable housing alternatives. The community supports an excellent school system, a new hospital, and numerous retail and service businesses.

Potosi / Tennyson

Potosi is home to the National Brewery Museum and Potosi Brewery. Only 20 miles from Dubuque, Iowa, the twin cities of Potosi and Tennyson have commercial properties available for new and expanding businesses.
