Economic Development in Grant County Wisconsin

Potosi WI Economic Profile

Potosi, Wisconsin,  is located close to the Mississippi River. The “Twin Cities” of Potosi (population 688) and Tennyson (population 355) are located only 20 minutes from Dubuque, Iowa, to which some residents commute daily to work.

The non-profit Potosi Brewery Foundation has fully restored the historic Potosi Brewery landmark into a microbrewery, restaurant, gift shop, National Brewery Museum and Great River Road Interpretive Center.

Good roads, utilities, and an excellent school system make Potosi/Tennyson a great place to live, work, and enjoy life.
