Memory Cafe – Sinsinawa
Held on the last Thursday of each month.
Memory Café is a social gathering where people with memory loss, mild cognitive impairment, early Alzheimer’s or other dementia can come together. Family and friends are also encouraged to join! In this relaxed environment, participants can visit, share common interests, and enjoy refreshments. A unique, stimulating program or activity is offered each month.
SINSINAWA, Wis.—Join Sinsinawa Mound Memory Café from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, to celebrate the close of our fourth year of our Memory Café. There will be a review of the sights and sounds of cafes of the past four years and discussion of hopes for the café in 2020—a New Year’s party! Gather with people who are experiencing memory loss, mild cognitive impairment, early Alzheimer’s or other dementia, along with a caregiver, to share common interests and friendship. Participants will find common understanding and a safe environment for those living with memory loss. We plan a new activity every month. Memory Café is open to anyone in the tristate area and is free. Please have a caregiver present.
