Mt. Hope, Wisconsin

Mt. Hope is a small village of 225 located just south of Highway 18. The agricultural community has several small local businesses to serve area residents. Dairyland Seed Company and Kussmaul Seeds are located here, as well as Tyler's Repair. Heritage Movers, LLC, a house and building moving, raising and repairing business is located in Mt. Hope.

The Mt. Hope Dairy Days is held on the third Friday in June each year. Sponsored by the Mt Hope Cardinals 4-H Club, the celebration features a big parade, a pie and ice cream social, kids games, food and a teen dance. Located 11 miles from Fennimore's Southwest Tech and 25 miles from UW-Platteville, Mt. Hope is part of the River Ridge School District.

For great food, drinks and lots of fun, stop at Home-A-Gins restaurant and bar. Come early for their daily lunch specials. Wednesdays are Taco Night and Fridays are Fish Night.

Mt. Hope is the eastern beginning of the 70+ miles of ATV/UTV route, maintained by the River Ridge Runners UTV/ATV club. Riders enjoy the beautiful countryside while enjoying a family friendly outing. Motorcyclists, Bicyclists and snowmobilers enjoy our scenery, as well.  There are many trout streams in the area for fishing enthusiasts. Local public land is available for the hunter. Located minutes away from the Wisconsin and Mississippi Rivers, visitors can enjoy the water sports and more fishing.
